NHS England London recognises that patients across London recovering from COVID-19 need rehabilitation services. These services should be holistic and take in to account that each patient is a person with individual rehabilitation needs that span across health and social care.
Finally, people across London should all equally be able to access the same services. UCLPartners is helping to coordinate this work to support the NHS with the planning and delivery of rehabilitation services.
Despite a good response rate so far, we still need more information, particularly from men, those of black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds and those aged between 50-70, in order to have a balanced representation of Londoners.
We would also like to hear more from people who had been in the ICU, or people who were hospitalised on a hospital ward for Covid-19.
