Strike action by Health Services Laboratories (HSL) and The Doctors Laboratory (TDL)

Some staff working for Health Services Laboratories (HSL) and The Doctors Laboratory (TDL) are taking strike action from 8am today until 8am on Saturday.
This may result in some delay in reporting of blood test results.
For routine tests there may be delays and testing may need to be focused on where results will have an impact on clinical decision-making.
All routine blood tests will be stabilised and held to be processed in accordance with laboratory capacity.
For blood test appointments, any flagged as urgent will be processed via the usual urgent pathway.
If you have a phlebotomy appointment still attend, unless you are contacted by someone from the NHS.
