The UK's first Red Alert for hot weather has been issued for this week. Hospital and GP services are expected to be busier than normal. During this time please ensure you are well hydrated and stay out of the sun. The elderly, children and those with chronic medical problems may be particularly vulnerable to heat-related illness.
